Due to the current economic state Brides are looking for areas to tweek and save. I was disappointed to hear at a recent seminar that many are choosing to forgo videography at their wedding. Many brides do not understand the importance of videography, or have just never seen it done professionally. Photographs can be great, but video takes the recollection of that big day to a whole new level. Videographers have an eye for movement that can transform your wedding day into a cinematic masterpiece.
Here is a scenario to think about that someone presented me with in the past. What would you give to see your grandparents or great-grandparents getting married? To me that would be an amazing experience, and an experience I don’t want to deprive my grandchildren of.
Another thing thats great about video is that as a Bride you can watch it afterwards, and see what you didn’t have a chance to on your wedding day. For example, the excitement in your groom’s face as he waits at the alter for you, the parents being seated, the bridal party procession, and countless moments at the reception).
If you are still skeptical at least make an appointment to meet with a local videographer to see a sample so you can understand what it’s all about.
I defintiely understand the need during this recession to save, but that doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice entire elements in your wedding. Instead, consider altering decisions within those elements to save. Below is a link to an article on theknot.com that suggests several ways you can save on your wedding, and there are hundreds of others like this across the web. Good Luck!
